Looking for my next permanent role, my experience in Shift Production Management has been predominantly as the most senior person on shift.I work best in a continuous improvement environment with challenging targets set for Safety, Quality, Productivity, Efficiency and Waste, having enjoyed, in previous roles, a positive impact in these areas.Amongst my strengths is the ability to confidently make decisions which could impact on the business, developed during my many years of managing situations out of normal office hours. I also list employee development as a personal strength, and something I feel very strongly about. I have always a mind on succession planning and having the right people in the right place, whilst helping people reach their full potential.I have extensive experience of initiating and facilitating change on the shop floor both in a unionised and non-unionised environment.I am interested in personal development and as such am seeking either a “step up” role or another shift based management role perhaps including cross functionality with the potential to deliver quantifiable results to further develop within an organisation. I am particularly interested in developing my commercial awareness within an organisation; budgets, NPD, Project work and Supply Chain for example are areas I feel would be valuable additions to my current experience, giving more breadth to my current skills and knowledge.
